Mrs. Julia Lee Breakey passed away at her home in Marshall Twp. at 3:45 p.m., Saturday, following an illness of nearly a year. She was born in Fredonia township, December 5, 1863, the daughter of James and Christina Lee, and all her life was spent in Marshall and vicinity. She was married March 9 1887 to Lewis I Breakey. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Floyd E., of Walled Lake, and Glenn, of Marshall township; one daughter, Mrs. Emery Mains of Reading Michigan; one sister Mrs. Sarah Gatchell, of Marshall; one half-sister, Mrs. Laura Schnitzler, of Fredonia township; two half-brothers, Tom Lee of Battle Creek and Ed Lee of Fredonia township; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at the kelser funeral home at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, with the Rev. K. L. Hayes, of Reading, officiating, and interment in Oakridge cemetery.
