Jennie A. Lower, of David H. and Susannah (Carbaugh) Lower, born in Huntington, Pa., April 17, 1848. When she was about two years of age her parents moved to Iowa, where she grew to womanhood. On June 13, 1872, she was married to Jerome B. Daniels, in Malcomb, Iowa. In 1877 they moved to Kansas, settling in Jewell County, where Jerome B. died February 22, 1879.
To them were born three children, as follows;

Edith Myrtle Daniels

The same spring she went to Norton County, Kan., where her father and two brothers-in-law had taken homesteads. Here she met William H. Railsback, whom she married. He was born at Ladoga, Crawford County, Ind., 7 April, 1841. William was a veteran of the Civil War and a widower, his wife Mary having died. His parents were natives of Kentucky. Squire Simpson Railsback

According to U.S. Census records, in 1870, William was a farmer in Missouri, and in 1880, a farmer in Kansas.
