Samuel Bliss was born 3 Jul 1712 in Norwich, New London, Connecticut.

Mortuary Notice; Connecticut Gazette, 1804-09-12, Mortuary Notice, pg. 3 DIED At Preston, Mr. SAMUEL BLISS, aged 92 years. He by accident, drank a small quantity of dissolved Pearl Ash mistaking it for bitters, which caused his death in about 16 hours.

Probate Notice; True Republican (Norwich, Connecticut), Advertisment, pg. 3. This was also published Jan. 16th & 30th 1805 and Feb. 2nd & 6th 1805 in the True Republican (Norwich, Connecticut). The Hon. Court of Probate, for the District of Norwich, hath allowed SIX MONTHS from the 6th day of December inst. for the Creditors to the Estate of Samuel Bliss, late of Preston, deceased, to exhibit their Claims against said Estate, or be debarred a recovery according to law.
