Roger L. Schmoldt, of Beloit, WI, died May 17, 2011, in his home. He was born on February 8, 1938, to the late Myron and Annette (Engles) Schmoldt in Monroe, WI. Roger married the former Arlene Sill on January 9, 1957, in Rockford. Roger enlisted into the U.S. Air Force in 1955 until his honorable discharge in 1963. He traveled extensively throughout the world with the Air Force; namely, Germany, the Arctic Circle and many areas of the United States. He re-enlisted into the National Guard in 1986 and completed his commitment to the United Stated retiring in the U.S. Army a Sergeant 1st Class in 1998. Roger worked for the Beloit Corp for 32 years, retiring after 32 years of employment.
