Mrs. W.A. Ribble, former resident of Henderson County, died Monday afternoon at 2:25 o'clock at her home in Graham.She was born in this county December 12, 1868, and moved to Eustace in 1907. She resided there until 1920, when she moved to Graham.She had been a member of the Baptist Church for twenty-five years.The body was brought overland to Eustace, arriving there Tuesday night about 8 o'clock, and remained at the home of a son, Jesse Carter, until the hour of the funeral services.The services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Methodist Church of Eustace, with the Rev. J.W. Williford officiating. Burial was in the Moorehead Cemetery.The Hassell and Foster Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.Mrs. Ribble is survived by her husband; four sons, Jesse Carter of Eustace, O.J. Carter of Tulsa, Oklahoma, D.C. Carter of Graham, and H.M. Carter of San Antonio; one daughter, Mrs. Cordie Newbill of Houston; a half sister, Mrs. Haley Edwin of Dallas; fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
