Politician. She was the wife of Governor Juan Manuel de Rosas whom she helped to recuperate power in 1835. She was a pioneer woman in politics in Argentina. From the triumph of her husband in the Campaign to the Desert, she was given the title of Heroine of the Holy Federation. She was a woman of strength and iron will. Her demise gave rise to a magnificent funeral with thousands. She married on March 16, 1813 and had three children.
