Mrs. Geraldine Scholtens, aged 86, of Grant, died Tuesday, August 6, 2002, at the Holland Home Breton Manor. She married Albert Scholtens April 12, 1939, in Kent City, and he preceded her in death November 4, 1996. She is survived by her children, Simon and Pearl Scholtens of Grant, Alice and James Bandstra of Big Rapids, Harry and Connie Scholtens of Grant; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren: and her brother, George and Marian VanSingel of Kent City. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 9, at the Grant Christian Reformed Church with a family prayer at 1:45 p.m. with Pastor Case VanWyk officiating. Visitation 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the McKinley Grant Chapel. Interment Hillside Cemetery, near Grant. Memorials to the Grant Christian School Endowment Fund.
