Funeral Services for Edith Braddy Beard Potts, age 92 of Ashburn will held Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn with burial to follow in the Bethel Cemetery.

Mrs. Potts died Friday at Tift Regional Medical Center after a short illness.

Mrs. Potts was a native Turner County the daughter of the late Wilson Allen and Katie Hythen Shepherd Braddy. She was a retired Supervisor from Manhattan Shirt Co. and Jaco Pants Co. and was member of the Prospect Methodist Church.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting and collecting old movies. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons Charles Amos Potts, Jr., 1989 and Michael C. Potts, 1996. She is survived by two sons Wyatt A. Beard, Orlando, Fla. and Bobby Ivan Beard, Muscatine, Iowa and two daughters Imogene B. Wells, Ashburn and Emmaline Kate B. Henriksen, Arkon, Ohio a brother C. B. Braddy, Sycamore, and five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday evening at the funeral home from six until eight.
