Lorraine was born the daughter of Emil & Sophia Lammers Ramert. She grew up on the family farm and attended Dist. 84 Country School in Murray County. Lorraine was united in marriage to Bernard Fiedler on June 19, 1946 at St. Mary's Church in Dundee, MN. After their marriage they lived in Camp Polk, LA and Ft. Sill, OK. They then moved to Fulda and in 1952 they moved to a farm east of Lime Creek. In 1957 they moved to a farm near Avoca where they lived and farmed until moving to a farm east of Avoca in 1973. Bernard passed away on September 6, 1996. Lorraine remained on the farm until she entered the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in January of 2010. She was a member of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Fulda. She enjoyed music, working on the farm, shopping, being outdoors in nature and planting trees and shrubs and spending time with her family.
Bernard & Lorraine were the parents of Gary Fiedler, Kayla (Steve) McNab, and Alanna Fiedler.
Lorraine's siblings include Bernard (Janice) Ramert, Viola Clark, Ramona Schwab.
Funeral services were held from St. Gabriel's Church, Fulda.
