Mr. Peckham, born October 9, 1869 was the son of Charles Henry and D. Adelle Palmer Peckham. He was 31 years of age, a carpenter by trade and ambitious far beyond his strength.
Mr. Peckham leaves a wife, Minnie Richardson Peckham, a son, Charles Oscar Peckham, and a sister, Elizabeth L. Peckham. Another sister, Alice Virginia Peckham predeceased him in 1884.
The deceased was a member of the K.O.T.M. who attended the funeral in a body. The funeral which was held at the Baptist Church at Scipio Center Sunday at 2:00. Rev. P.O. Gott preached from Hebrews 13, Verse 14. The bearers were T. Colson, L. Colson, Charles Wyant fellow workmen and John Fordyce, Ed Hunter and Leslie Smith friends.
