Dian Peacock Blaylock, age 64, died at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland on May 16, 2011. A funeral service celebrating her life will be 10am Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison with visitation at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 from 5pm-7pm and again one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born in Webster County, MS, Mrs. Blaylock is the daughter of the late Dutch Peacock and the late Mary Brooks Peacock. She was a retired RN who was a member of Trace Ridge Baptist Church. She loved flowers and was a former member of Raymond Garden Club. On several occasions she received the Yard of the Month Award.
She is survived by her husband Robert Blaylock; daughter, Amanda Cook and her husband Alan of Madison; son, Steven Blaylock of Brandon; her grandchildren that she loved very much, Drew and Courtney Cook; sisters, Sherry Anderson of Eupora and Sandra Thompson of West Point and brothers, Joe and Bill Peacock of Mathiston.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
