George Oran Forman was born August 5, 1893, in Cozad, Dawson County, Nebraska, the son of Reverend Albert Gamiel and Carrie C. (Harvey) Forman.

George married Olga Mae Fight on December 25, 1917, in Ewing, Holt County, Nebraska. Olga was born June 16, 1892, in Plattsmouth, Cass County, Nebraska, the daughter of John and Florence JoAnn (Draper) Fight. George and Olga had the following known children:

1. John Warren Forman (1918-1998)

George was killed in an accident between a car and train on September 11, 1926, in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, Iowa. Olga died March 13, 1988, in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, Iowa.

George Oran Forman was born at Cozad, Nebra., August 5, 1893 and died in Council Bluffs, Iowa, September 11th, 1926, aged 33 years, one month and 6 days.

HIs father being a minister, he grew up in a parsonage home and attended the public schools where he lived. He graduated from the high school at York Nebraska in 1911, after which he attended the Wesleyan University for some time.

He entered business life in 1914, his last position being salesman for the Hord Motor Co., with which he was employed at the time of the fatal accident that caused his death.

He was united in marriage to Miss Olga Fight at Ewing, Nebr. Dec. 25, 1917. He has been connected with the church since childhood. His membership was in the Broadway Methodist Church at the time of his death.

He was a member of Mizpah lodge A. F. & A. M. and Delta Chapter No. 10 Royal Arch Masons in Omaha.

He leaves to mourn his departure his devoted wife and one son, John Warren; his father and mother of University Place and a sister, Mrs. Helen Daniels of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and two brothers of Portland, Oregon.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Fitch Funeral Home in Omaha. The body was taken to Lincoln, Nebr. for burial, the Masonic fraternity having charge of funeral arrangements.
