Phebe (aka Phoebe) Elizabeth Stiles Baysinger, daughter of James W. Baysinger and Elmira Stiles.

Granddaughter of Samuel Baysinger and Mary Thomas and of John Stiles and Phebe Shearer.

Married to William Ash died 23 Jan 1888 in Tell City, Indiana. They were the parents of at least three children, Ella, Annie Mae and an unknown.

Married on 10 Aug 1891 to William S. St. Clair of Crawford County. They had no children. Phebe's brother Aden married William's sister Josephine. Phebe divorced William on 8 Aug 1892 in Perry County after he abandoned her.

James Graves was a very close, personal friend of Phoebe's and testified at her divorce trial. They married a few days after Pheobe's divorce was final.

Married on 24 Aug 1892 to John William Graves in Perry County. They were the parents of at least four documented children: one unknown, Flora Rean, Elva and Frances. It appears that Elva was the only Graves child to reach adulthood.

John Graves abandoned Phoebe around 1902 and went to Arkansas. In early August 1911, Phoebe filed for divorce and it was granted in October 1911. Newspaper article in Evansville Courier and Press, with headline "Isn't Worth Salt"
