BOONEVILLE – Mildred Price, 95, died Sunday, May 15, 2011, at the Landmark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Booneville. She was born July 8, 1915, to William David and Lucille Keaton Floyd. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, UMW and the Woman's Club. She and her husband owned Price's Jewelers. She enjoyed playing bridge.
Private funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Hankins officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty Price (John) Donahoo of Hampton Cove, Ala.; one son, John David (Amanda) Price of Booneville; two sisters, Martha Floyd (Bunch) Gardner of Shannon and Margaret Floyd (Bob) Burgess of Vivera, Fla.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Price; her parents; and one brother, Elmer Floyd.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
