Lewis Henry Bolling, 51, of near Fairfield, died Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Flemming, Hanover and Fourth Streets, after an illness of one week of complication. He was a farmer and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bolling and was born near Fairfield.
The deceased is survived by his widow, whose maiden name was Miss Emma A Hummer, three daughter, Mrs. Leroy Kane, of Reisterstown, Maryland; Mrs. Daniel Johnson, Gettysburg RD3 and Mrs. Clayton Topper, of Gettysburg RD9; five sons, Harry J., of Fairfield RD; John L. and Howard L., of Gettysburg; Paul A., of Seven Stars, and Kenneth F Bolling, at home.
Seven sisters and two brothers; also survive, Mrs. James Beard of Gettysburg; Mrs. Charles Shriner, of Gettysburg, RD.; Mrs. Lloyd Reed, of Gettysburg; Mrs. Cletus Sanders of Fairfield, RD; Miss Annie Bolling, of Gettysburg; Sister Virginia, a nun in a New Orleans convent, and Sister Theresa
another nun, in a Lansing, Michigan convent; James and Albert Bolling, near Fairfield.
Nine grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services Monday, meeting at Bender's funeral home at 8:30 followed by a requeim high mass in the Catholic church of Fairfield, the Rev. Fr. McGragh officiating, with burial in the Catholic cemetery at Fairfield.
