PENOYER, Carol Dean - Of Flint, age 77, died Thursday, March 13, 2003 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Minister Mark Aites officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the Michigan Kidney Foundation. Visitation 4-7PM Sunday and Monday at the funeral home. Carol was born in Burns Flat, Oklahoma on October 18, 1925 and was a resident of the Flint area most of her life. She married Frederick "Fred" Penoyer, Jr. in 1946. Carol was a member of Swartz Creek Church of Christ. Surviving are children, Kim and wife Babette Penoyer, Jan Penoyer, Scott Penoyer, Todd and wife Wendy Penoyer, all of Flint; grandchildren, Kerrie, Rick, Kristie, Brian, Alicia, Ricky, Tiffany, Caitlin and Cassidy; several great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Eleanor Albert and Pollye Church; brother, J.K. Webb; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; sons, Keith and Frederick "Rick" Penoyer.
