PARENTS: Samuel Kellogg and Sarah Day, who married November 21, 1664. Samuel was the emmigrant from Braintree, Essex, England.

WIFE: Margaret Belden, married October 4, 1697 in Hadley, Hampshire Co., MA. She was the daughter of John Belden and Lydia Standish.

The will of Nathaniel Kellogg, dated 27 Apr 1756, proved 1757, mentions wife Priscilla; son John (perhaps 289), daughs_______Campfield, Edith Pratt (wife of Joseph), and Lydia Hopson; grandson Charles Kellogg of Bolton and Nathaniel Kellogg; granddaugh, Elizabeth Clark, Sarah Bingham, Delight Andrus, Margaret Webb and Ann Kellogg; daugh in law Lydia Kellogg, grandsons David, Ezra and Abner (probably 296) kellogg; granddaugh, Rachel, Margaret, Lydia and Sarah Kellogg; grandsons Oliver and Russell Kellogg, and granddaugh, Sarah Crocker. The Estate of Nathaniel Kellogg was divided 14 Feb 1758, between John Kellogg, Charles Kellogg, Nathaniel Kellogg, Elizabeth Clark, Sarah Bingham, Delight Andrus, Margaret Webb, Ann Kellogg, David Kellogg, Abner, Ezra, Ezekiel, Lydia and Mary Kellogg, Sarah Crocker; Lydia Kellogg, Margarets heirs; Edith Pratt.

16 Mar 1704, the town of Colchester granted him, and Samuel Pellet, liberty to set up a sawmill on Gouvernors Brook 18 Dec 1704, he was chosen to be "Way Warden", which is a surveryor of roads. 1 Oct 1711, he was appointed to a committee to finish a frame, given by Capt. Gilbert, to make a schoolhouse, and hire a school master. During the same town meeting, 1 Oct 1711, he and Sgt. Pratt, were appointed to lay out a highway "from north end of town unto Jeremiahs & make return to towne." 1711, he was chosen to be a "Collector" 31 Dec 1712, he was chosen to be on a committee to lay out convenient "Highwaise", or roads. 8 Apr 1713, he was made "Joint Proprietor" of Colchester 23 Sept 1720, the town granted him, and three others, liberty of the stream running through Jonathan Kellogg's (most likely his uncle, but could be the younger cousin) meadow, with ten acres of land for a sawmill or gristmill. 14 Sept 1730, he was appointed, with Capt. Wright, to a committee to exchange his land so the town boundry of Lebanon could be completed. 29 May 1748, he married Priscilla, widow of Mr. Williams.
