PARIS — Mrs. Florence Browning, 97, of Paris, died at Monroe Manor at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. She has been a patient there several months.
The body was removed to the Agnew Funeral Home in Paris where arrangements are pending the arrival of her sons.
Mrs. Browning was born in Missouri Jan. 28, 1877, a daughter of Henry and Martha Hockaday McCue. She was the widow of Attorney J. J. Browning and had resided in Paris many years. She was an active member of the Paris Presbyterian Church as long as her health permitted.
She is survived by two sons, Wallace Browning of Chicago and Louis Browning of Washington, D.C.; nieces and nephews.
