Services for Alice M. Parker of McMinnville were held Tuesday in the McMinnville church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bishop Dan Keliiheleua of the church officiated. Interment was in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Mrs. Parker died April 19, 1991, in the Sheridan Care Center. She was 86.
She was born Dec. 21, 1904, in Hebron, Neb., the daughter of Asa E. and Ada A. Panter Young. She moved with her family to Monmouth when she was a teenager. She completed her education there.
She and Oscar P. Parker were married April 5, 1925, in Monmouth. They moved to McMinnville after the wedding.
Mrs. Parker was a member of the Latter-day Saints Church, enjoyed gardening and canning and lied to sew.
Mr. Parker preceded her in death in 1954.
Arrangements are under the direction of Macy & Son Funeral Directors, McMinnville.
