Died August 28, 1926, Chas. R. Massey, beloved husband of Mrs. Chas. R. Massey, in his 33rd year. He is also survived by three brothers, Will Massey of San Marcos, Ben E. Massey of Boerne, Texas, and Eugene Massey of Denver, Col.; five sisters, Mrs. E.R. Brack of San Antonio, Mrs. Sam Wood of Kerrville, Mrs. O.H. Henson of Houston, Miss Addie Massey of Houston, Mrs. Bob Stockton of San Antonio. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services from the Wilbert & Pelphrey parlors at 4 p.m. Sunday, August 29. Rev. McDonald will officiate. Interment in Mission Burial Park under direction of Wilbert & Pelphrey.

Charles is the son of Edward G Massey and Margaret (Maggie) Hill. At this time the burial locations of his parents are unknown. Most likely location for their burial is Hays County, Texas.
