Nels Braaten, 90, died Dec. 4 at the home of his sister, Bertha Cach of Pennington. He was a farmer in Murray County and lived in 1940-T974. He was a resident in the Wadena Nursing Home and the past year has lived with his sister in Pennington. Services were held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Snustad Funeral Home Chapel and Pastor Morris Ropp officiated. Burial was held in Moose Lake Cemetery in Pennington under the direction of the Snustad Funeral Home. Mr. Braaten is survived by a sister, Bertha Cach of Pennington and a sister in Minneapolis.
