Evelyn K. Duenkler

Evelyn K. Duenkler, 79, of the Watkins Home died Wednesday (June 8, 1988) at Community Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 24, 1909, in Alliance, Ohio, to Godfrey and Marie Reichen Kochli. She married Gordon Duenkler. He has died.

She lived in Winona since 1987, living in Coolidge, Ariz., previously. She was a retired supervisor for the mentally and physically handicapped at the Arizona Training Center in Randolph, Ariz.

She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star in Coolidge.


Survivors include one son, James Bourne of Winona; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nella Blanchard of Phoenix, Ariz., and Edna Boone of Brady Lake, Ohio.

Her husband, eight brothers and one sister have died.


Her body was cremated, and there will be no services in Winona.

The Fawcett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
