Long Illness Fatal, To Ex-Freedom Man
Emil E. Duenkler, 81, a former North Freedom area resident, died Monday in a local hospital after a long illness.
A native of Germany, he, was born, Feb. 9, 1886. He was a blacksmith and welder at Fond du Lac until he retired and moved to North Freedom some time ago.
Survivors include a son, Gordon, Coolidge, Az.; and 1 grandchild and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held, Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Gant funeral home. Rev. Virgil Holmes, pastor of the United Methodist church, will officiate, and burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon on Thursday.
