Eunice H. Mallard, 79, died late Wednesday at Emanuel County Hospital in Swainsboro after a long illness. The Bulloch County native was a retired postal clerk at the Georgia Southern post office and was a member of the Westside and Middleground Garden Clubs. She was a member of Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Bobby H. Mallard, Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Thelma M. Kilpatrick, Swainsboro; two sisters, Geneva McCorkle and Willie Lee Hunnicutt, both of Statesboro; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday at noon at Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery. Hodges-Turner Funeral Home.
