She is predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Cesar Branco from Portugal, who died in 1967. Surviving are her three daughters whom she dedicated her life to raising Kay Barry and her husband Brian of North Brunswick, Dolores Bukewicz and her husband Wayne of Englishtown, and Marie Filozof and her husband John of North Brunswick; three grandchildren her first granddaughter Amy Lawson and her husband Billy of South River. Amy was the light of her life because she brought back life and joy to the family after the loss of Jennie's husband. Amy later blessed her grandmother with two very special gifts from God two great grandchildren Shelby Marie Lawson and William Sonny Lawson. They always put a smile on her face and a sparkle in her eye. Their Nana was very special to them. She had a second special granddaughter Heidi Young and her husband Ross of Manalapan. Heidi also blessed her grandmother with a very loving great grandson Tyler Cesar Young. Tyler completed the love in Nana's heart. She also had her third step-granddaughter Hope Marie Filozof of New Brunswick who had a special place in Nana's heart too. She is also survived by two sisters Florence Freeman and her husband George of South River and Mary Zullo of Manchester, New Hampshire and many nieces and nephews. Her love for life, her family and her dear friends were her legacy. She will be sadly missed by all. She touched everyone's heart with kindness.
Private funeral services will be held on Monday. Burial will follow in Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick on Sunday from 2 PM to 5 PM with a service at 4:30 PM.
