The Allen County native was a retiree of General Electric Co. Surviving are a son, Arthur Jr. of Fort Wayne; a stepdaughter, Maxine Conley of Oakwood, Ohio; a stepson, Herbert Bottoms of Fort Wayne; seven stepgrandchildren; 14 stepgreat-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Services are 1 p.m. Friday in Hockemeyer Funeral Home, Harlan, where calling is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in Scipio Cemetery. Memorials are to Harlan Church of Christ or Byron Health Center.
