Dunning Cox, a native of Aulander, N.C., and a resident of Norfolk for the past 50 years, died at the residence 2506 Pershing Avenue, yesterday at 3:05 p.m.
She was a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church, Women's Benefit Association, Daughters of the Confederacy, and Spanish-American War Veterans Auxiliary No. 5.
Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Maxine A. Owens and Mrs. Rosalind L. Jennings, both of Norfolk; two sons, Walter C. Joynes, Jr., of Richmond, and St. Leger M. Joynes, of Norfolk, and nine grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the Ewell and Williamson Funeral
Home to the Trinity Baptist Church for funeral services tomorrow at 3 p.m.
