BROOKLET - Dala C. Cone, 93, died Saturday at Bulloch Memorial Hospital after a long illness. The Bulloch native was homemaker and a member of Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Kennedy, Brooklet, and Betty Armstrong, Mobile, Ala.; two sons, Harry N. Jones, Brooklet and Earnest Jones, Chesapeake, VA.; a sister, Iole C. Tanner, Sunbury; a sister-in-law, Ester Cook, Stilson; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Woodrow Beasley and Elder Howard Cox officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
