COOKEVILLE -- Graveside services for Ermie Lozena Buck Scantland, 78, of Cookeville, will be held at 4 p.m. EDT, on Sunday, May 15, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Sunbright, Morgan County.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. CDT, on Saturday, May 14, at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home and immediately following the services on Sunday in Sunbright.
Mrs. Scantland died suddenly on Thursday, May 12, 2011, at her home.
She was born June 22, 1932, in Morgan County to the late Fred and Dolly Hall Buck.
Mrs. Scantland was of the Protestant faith, a homemaker and a former associate of Oster's Incorporated, with 12 years of service.
Her family includes two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Harris Williams of Lebanon and Theresa and Tony Ford of Cookeville; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Rocky and Linda Scantland, Ricky Scantland, Roger Scantland and Robert Scantland; six grandchildren, Amy Williams, Ashley and husband Chris Ferrell, Hayley Williams, Brandon Ford, April and husband Dallas Shackleford and Candice and husband Bo Power; and five great-grandchildren, Lilly Ferrell, Trent Power and Emmalee, Anabelle and Myatt Shackleford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Haskell Lee Scantland; a daughter, Sherry Scantland; a sister, Wanda Buck; and two brothers, J.L. and Eddie Paul Buck.
Rev. Charles Webb will officiate at the services.
