Tabatha, the third daughter and seventh of eight children of Joseph Miller and Rebecca Johnson was born on 21 January 1709 at Middletown, Connecticut. Tabatha married Elisha Sayre (aka Sears), the son of Nathan and Mary (Atwood) Sayre on 8 December 1734 at Middletown, Connecticut Colony. They had twelve children born at Middletown:
