Mr. Krulikoski was born in Naugatuck December 29, 1918, a son of the late John and Mary (Moraski) Krulikowski. He had been a lifelong resident of Naugatuck, and an employee of Risdon Manufacturing Company in Naugatuck. He was a communicant of St. Hedwig Church in Naugatuck. Ted was a member of the Elks Club, Catholic War Veterans and the Waterbury Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans.
Mr. Krulikoski served in World War II, as Private First Class in the 133rd Infantry Regiment, 34th "Red Bull" Infantry Division, 5th U.S. Army under Lieutenant General Mark Clark. After landing in North Africa, he participated in the Naples, Foggia, Rome, Arno, North Apennes and Po Valley Campaigns in Italy. Ted was awarded the Bronze Star for heroic achievement in action, assisting in the evacuation of wounded men, while utterly disregarding his own safety while under German machine gun fire. He was also awarded the European-African- Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with two battle stars, the American Defense Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
In addition to his wife, Ted leaves his daughters, Linda Gomulinski of Middlebury, CT, Marlene Horgan and Debra Krulikoski, both of Naugatuck; one brother, Leonard King of Naugatuck; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Krulikoski's funeral was held Tuesday, May 27, 1975 from the Fitzgerald-Zembruski-Zgrillo Funeral Home in Naugatuck to St. Hedwig Church for a 9 a.m. Mass. Burial was in St. James Cemetery. Bearers were John Rahuba, Robert Earty, Howard Packer, Wayne King, Stanley Krulikowski and Bill Ernst.
