Isaac S. Cripe, 84, died at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clara Brumbaugh, 411 North Indiana Avenue.
He was born in Elkhart Township, July 10, 1851, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Cripe and had spent his entire life in this community.
Surviving are his widow, Sarah, five children, Mrs. Clara Brumbaugh and Frank, Elkhart; Jesse E., of Dunlap; Mrs. Ralph Miller, Detroit, and Mrs. Jesse Shellenberger, Goshen; his stepmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Cripe; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, John, Goshen, and Lewis, Middlebury; a sister, Mrs. Henry Neff, Goshen; one half-brother, Henry Cripe, of Goshen, and two half-sisters, Mrs. Charles Brumbaugh, Goshen, and Mrs. Ella Troupe, Elkhart.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the West Side Church of the Brethren.
