George W. Claytor, 71, died suddenly at his home at 2311 28th Av. W. yesterday.
Born in Roanoke, Va., Mr. Claytor moved to Bellingham as a youth. He resided here for about 50 years.
An Army veteran of the First World War, Mr. Claytor was a retired driver for the Fortune Transfer Co. He was a member of Local 174, Teamster's Union.
He is survived by his wife, Harriet, and three sisters, Mrs. Harold Day and Mrs. Alice Folsom, both of Seattle, and Mrs. Virgie Pynor of Ferndale, Whatcom County.
Rosary will be said at 7:30 o'clock this evening at Hoffner's Fisher-Kalfus chapel. Requiem Mass will be said at 9:30 o'clock tomorrow at Our Lady of Fatima Church, with entombment at Holyrood.
