The death of Donatus J. Schmidt occurred
yesterday at his residence, No. 635 Carbon
street, from injuries sustained Monday when fell
from a ladder. He was 70 years of age.
A widow and five
children, Mrs. John Drayer, Mrs, Alfred J.
Moyer, Mrs. Christopher Masser and
Mary and Elizabeth Schmidt, and a sister,
Mrs. Johanna Hugger, survive. The de-
ceased was a member of the Third Order
of the Church of the Assumption. The
funeral will be held Monday.
