Lillian Mae Vance, 87, of Elm Rd,Owingsville,Kentucky formerly of White Oak,Kentucky, passed away Monday,September 28,2015 in the St.Claire Medical Center,Morehead, Kentucky due to a brief illness. Born March 5,1928 in White Oak,Kentucky,a daughter of the late Goebel and Hazel Manning Vance. She was a member of the Tunnel Hill Church, Owingsville, Kentucky and a homemaker.
Besides her parents,her husband,Richard Waldo Vance,one grandson Danny Vance II, two brothers and fours sisters preceded her in death.
Surviving is her son,Danny and Vickie Vance of Owingsville,Ky. Three grandchildren,Gina Howard,Lorraine Ott and Katherine Jackson and also survived by several nieces,nephews and their children.
Funeral services will be 1:pm Friday,October 2,2015 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev.Eugene Haney officiating. Interment in Goebel Vance Cemetery, Vance Fork,Ky. Visitation 11:AM, Friday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty,Ky. Pallbearer will be friends and relatives.
