Serving in WWII, he entered the service 12/26/1942. at Ft. Meade, Maryland. He served overseas at New Guinea, the Philippines, Iwo Jima, Japan and Australia.
He was a gentle and fun loving, he never took himself too seriously and was the perfect foil for his older brother's more serious view of life.
He is still sorely missed by his family, nieces and nephews. Those born into the family since his passing are poor for having been cheated from the opportunity to know him. He will not be forgotten.
