Funeral services for Chester Scheidegger, 81, of Osage were held Saturday afternoon at the Champion Funeral Home. He died June 26. The Reverend Kit Belk, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, was in charge of the rites and burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
Chester G. Scheidegger was born May 3, 1899. He farmed in the Grafton area many years. Following his retirement he was united in marriage to Mrs. Ella Timmerman. They established their home in Osage.
Surviving are his widow, Ella; two step-sons, Robert Timmerman of LeRoy; Manly Timmerman of Austin; one brother, Harry Scheidegger of Hermann, Missouri; and two sisters, Linda Michel and Helen Honerkamp of St. Louis; nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death.
