Dormalee Ann Koehler
Dorma, a life-long resident of the Puyallup Valley, lost her courageous battle with diabetes early Thursday morning, January 13, 2011, at age 71. She is survived by her husband, Karl, with whom she celebrated 40 years of marriage. She will be dearly missed by sons Daniel Compton and Michael Compton (Nickie), daughters Lynn Daugherty (Bob), Joan Rice (Martin), Anna McCoy (Tim), Lori Blue (Malcolm), and Karla Weber (Ken). She had 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Surviving siblings Bill Denton, David Denton, and Cathy Kualii will also miss her. She enjoyed a full life and loved her family, knitting, candles, purses, and shoes. Dorma was a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aux. #3480.

Viewing at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup on January 20th, 2011 from 3pm-8pm.
Donations may be made to the Eagles Diabetes Fund, in the name of Dorma Koehler.

Friends and family are invited to the graveside service at the Orting Cemetery at 1:00 on January 21, 2011, followed by a reception at the Eagles Hall, 112 Bridge Street, Orting.
