William Marion Jones was the son of Nathan Alexander Jones and Amanda Allice Cummings. He was a young husband, to Hester Mary Icke, and the father of a daughter, Louise Marion Jones, when he died as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Marion Jones died Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, death being caused by tetanus, resulting from injuries received several days ago while riding a motor cycle. He leaves a wife and a child ten months old, and many relatives and friends to murn (sic) his death.
