DANIELL
Dale Bernard Daniell, 74, 816 N. Mesa St., died Wednesday (April 7, 1993) at Guadalupe Medical Center.
Memorial services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens Chapel. The American Legion and Toastmasters will preside in his honor as well as his friends, Carl P. Davis, Marshall Cunningham, Boyd Tidwell, Ralph Frintz and Sonny Treadaway.
Mr. Daniell was cremated under the direction of Sunset Gardens, who is handling arrangements.
He was born Oct. 30, 1918 in Brownfield, Texas and attended school in Seminole, Texas. He also attended Hardin-Simmons, University of Texas at Austin and Baylor University. He was a glider pilot in the U.S. Army-Air Corps and he continued to fly planes until he moved to Carlsbad in 1948.
While in Carlsbad, he worked for International Minerals and Chemical Corp., retiring in 1981.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Price Daniell.
Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Gonzales-Daniell of Carlsbad; sons, Charles M. Daniell of Hayward, Calif., and Larry Daniell of Carlsbad; his parents, W.S. and Fannie Daniell; his sisters, Bertie Lee Christopher and Ferne Parks of Lubbock, Texas; his brother, C.B. Daniell of Lookout Mountain, Tenn.; and two grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made to a favorite charity.
