Milford Young, 70, of 634 Ladd Ave., Bloomington, died at 11:50am Saturday at Bloomington Hospital. Mr. Young and his wife, the former Berth Culver, had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on April 5 of this year. Surviving with the wife are two sons, Robert M. Young, of Bloomington, and Joe Young. of Livonia, MI; one daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Audrey) Groh, of Bloomington; one brother, Leon Young, of Unionville Road; one sister, Mrs. Winfred (Leone) Chitwood, of Knightridge Road; ten grand-children; and three great-grand-children, Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday at the Allen County Chapel in Bloomington with the Revs. Richard Hittle and A. E. Lacey officiating. Burial will be in the Little Union Cemetery at Unionville. Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 2-9:30 pm today and until the hour of service on Monday. Pallbearers will be Marvin Groh, Eddie Wyatt, Robert F. Young, William M. Young, Morris Chitwood, Paul Chitwood, Bill Culver and Ed Peterson. - Herald Telephone 25 May 1969.
