Mr. Hodges died Tuesday, August 8, at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia after an extended illness. Mr. Hodges was a retired school bus driver, farmer and construction worker. He was a member of the Caldwell United Pentecostal Church of Clarks.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Roberta Pace Hodges of Grayson; 2 sons, Roy Dean Hodges and Lewis Glen Hodges of Grayson; 1 step-son, Cecil Doffitt of Grayson; 1 brother, Sheriff Floyd "Slim" Hodges; and 3 sisters, Mrs. Amy Fisher of Columbia; Mrs. Dottie Walters of Pitkin; and Mrs. Lydia Rollins of Simpson, La.; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Gary Doffitt, Ernie Doffitt, Michael Hodges, Ronnie Hodges, Rocky Cain and Ray Pace.
