Marion McDonald, who resided one block north of this office, died at 1 o'clock on last Monday morning after a two weeks illness of pneumonia, at the age of 42. His little step daughter at Perrysville wrote him a pretty letter a few days before his death, urging him to put his trust in God. The little child's pathetic appeal touched his heart deeply, and he said if he could be spared to live, he would lead a different life in the future.
