PIONEER RESIDENT
CHATFIELD BURIED
THERE WEDNESDAY


William J. Anderson, aged 88
years, pioneer resident of the
Chatfield community, died at his
home there Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. Anderson had resided in
Chatfield for the past 54 years.
Funeral services were held at
the Methodist church of Chatfield
Wednesday afternoon at 3
o'clock and interment was in the
Chatfield cemetery. Rev. J. B.
Weathers conducted the rites.
Surviving are his wife of Chatfield;
two daughters, Mrs. Mitt
Pollan of Rice and Mrs. Lloyd
Sands- of Chatfield; one son, W.
P. Anderson of Alma; four grandchildren,
and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were J. C. Mullan,
J. J. Kelt, W. P. Thorpe, J. M.
Hodge, J. P. Hodge, and B. F.
Marchbanks.

Corley Funeral Home was in
charge of the arrangements.
