Louise Bobbitt Miller, 93, formerly of Houston, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011, at her Baytown home. She was born in Houston on March 15, 1918, the second of three daughters of E.L. and Charlotte Bobbitt. A 1936 graduate of Reagan High School, she married the late Richard Miller on May 16, 1939. She was a longtime member of Houston's Grace United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, Jewell Gilpin and Geraldine Barnum, she is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Anderson, Sharon Howell and husband, Jim, Melanie Carter and husband, John, and Elaine Hays and husband, Randy; eleven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home, 6123 Garth Road-Baytown. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 1245 Heights Blvd., Rev. Hill Johnson, officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale.
