JACKSONVILLE Graveside services for Ann Abernathy Dennis, 67, Jacksonville, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Resthaven Cemetery with the Rev. Lynette Soloman officiating under direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Mrs. Dennis died Oct 29 at her residence.
She was born Dec. 1, 1935, in Dialville and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a housewife and was preceded in death by her first husband Al Abernathy.
Survivors include her husband, James Dennis, Jacksonville; son, Richard Abernathy, Jacksonville; daughters, Barbara Whitaker, Malakoff, Tina Ellis and Brenda Salazar, both of Jacksonville; brother, L.E. Sides, Jacksonville; sisters, Louise Gowin and Lillie Harris, both of Jacksonville; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
