Mrs. Iva Conover, 64 years old, widow of the late G.T. Conover, died at St. Joseph's Infirmary, Louisville, Ky., November 24, at 11:20 P.M. Mrs. Conover was a native of Russell county, but had resided in Louisville for many years.
Her remains were brought to H.E. Pruitt's funeral home last Friday and later was taken to the home of her sister, Mrs. Ida Wells, until the funeral, which was held at the local Baptist church at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, conducted by Rev. Carl Loy and the pastor, Rev. Brooken Campbell. Eld. Walter McKinney assisted with the funeral.
After the funeral the remains were laid to rest in the city cemetery beside her husband who passed away a few years ago. Besides her sister, Mrs. Wells, the deceased is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements were in charge of Pruitt's Funeral Home.
