Last rites for Mrs. Jim Lasater, 80, native Texan and resident of Young County since 1924, from the First Baptist Church.

She married Jim Lasaster at Kaufman County, Texas in 1897.

Rev. Cort R. Flint, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated

She is survived by two sons, Allen Lasater of Muncie, Ind., and Jimmle Lasater, with the occupational army in Japan; five daughters, Mrs. C. A. Robinson of Ranger, Mrs. Vera Hallman of Fresno, Calif., Mrs. A. J. McDonald of Baton Rouge, La., Mrs. D. A. Martin of Stephenville, and Mrs. Eaton Todd of Houston; a brother, two sisters, 22 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
