Des Moines, Iowa > Geneva Allsup, 91, passed away on August 12, 2010 at the Kavanagh Hospice Home on 56th St. Geneva was married to Rollin Allsup and he preceded her in death in 2003, following 68 years of marriage. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and greatly enjoyed, baby-sitting, sewing and cooking. Geneva was also a longtime member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Watrous Avenue in Des Moines, where her visitation will be held on Saturday, August 14, from 5 to 7 p.m., and her funeral service will be held Sunday, August 15, at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Des Moines. Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, husband, eight sisters and two brothers. She is survived by three sons; Kenneth (Sherie) of Des Moines, David of Altoona and Eldon (Pat) of New Virginia, nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
