Albert Olson of Cushing Fatally Injured -

Albert Olsen of Cushing, 48 years old, suffered a broken neck when he fell from a scaffold which broke during the building of a 4-H Club stand at the Howard County fair grounds at St. Paul Wednesday afternoon. He was taken to the St. Paul Hospital and died soon afterwards.

Funeral Services Held For Albert Olson -

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for Albert Olson at the Lutheran Church. The beautiful flowers and the large number of those present showed the high esteem in which he was held in the community. He was very active in the 4-H Club and also the Lutheran Sunday school and church.

He was born at Lincoln, Nebraska on April 22, 1900 and was 49 years 4 months and 9 days old. He met his death on Wednesday afternoon while working on a stand for the 4-H boys at the fair grounds.

He leaves a brother, Harvey, in California 2 sisters, Lila Delancy of Omaha, and Carrie Mortenson of St. Paul and his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Olson of Cushing.

He was laid to rest in the South Logan cemetery near his mother.
